About Me

Sunita Valladares always believes that education is much more than books or classrooms. It is first about helping young people discover who they are and what they can become. With 40+ years of teaching experience, she has guided countless students through music. She completed her graduation from St. Xavier’s College in Mumbai with a B.A. in Psychology. Later, she completed her M.A. in Sociology from the University of Mumbai. Sunita now combines her love for understanding people with her dedication to contributing to shaping meaningful learning journeys.

Her professional path has been rich and varied. From teaching Western vocals at Jamnabai Narsee School in Mumbai to training students in piano and vocals at the Ontario Conservatory of Music in Canada, Sunita has seen firsthand how young learners flourish when they are supported with patience and encouragement. Currently a keyboard teacher at Artium Music Academy in Mumbai, she continues to share her passion for music while opening a new chapter in her career as a certified career counsellor.
